Book Release Announcement: Dragon Kingdom & The Wishing Stone

Today is the day I had intended to release the third and final book of The Dream Chronicles, Dragon Kingdom & The Wishing Stone. It's been my work-in-progress for the entirety of 2018, and I have worked earnestly this month to meet my self-imposed deadline. Having released the first two books in the series before Christmas in 2016 and 2017 - I wanted to be able to bring the third book to readers at the same time in 2018.

Several days ago, as I sat re-reading my manuscript for the umpteenth time - I realized that it still wasn't where I wanted it to be. Simply put, I knew I wanted to spend more time with it before releasing it into the world and the hands of readers. At first, acknowledging this to myself felt like a failure - but what began as disappointment turned into relief. And this is how I knew that postponing the book's release was the right decision.



Without a doubt, Dragon Kingdom & The Wishing Stone will be ready to have its debut in early 2019 - and I hope that readers will forgive me for being a writer who just isn't quite ready to give up her "baby" for a little while longer.

Happy May! Spring Writing Adventures & Exciting News!

I really enjoyed reading, writing, and sharing poetry to celebrate National Poetry Month in April, and am looking forward to a beautiful spring month full of new writing adventures in May.
