Happy NaNoWriMo 2018!


Today marks the first day of National Novel Writing Month 2018, and this is my third year in a row participating. Writers from across the nation are putting pens to paper and fingers to keyboard to complete their stories. Specially, those ideas they’ve had in their heads, characters, scenes and dialogue they’ve imagined - but haven’t yet shared with the world. NaNoWriMo gives writers the motivation they need to get started and continues to fuel them with daily inspirations, writing tools and tips throughout the month of November.

If you’ve ever thought about writing a novel, or have ideas ready to come bursting out of your head - what’s stopping you? Sign up for NaNoWriMo 2018 and find your writing tribe! You can join region specific groups and meet fellow writers at local coffee shops & libraries. Or, if you prefer to stay at home, you can join online chats, forums and participate in twitter conversations to keep the creative juices flowing. NaNoWriMo even has a YouTube channel where you can watch interviews & tips on writing from the NaNoWriMo staff. However you choose to “hook in” - don’t miss this chance to join a movement that celebrates writing, writers - and novels.


Here’s what I’ll be working on this NaNoWriMo 2018 - Dragon Kingdom & The Wishing Stone, the 3rd book in The Dream Chronicles.

Happy May! Spring Writing Adventures & Exciting News!

I really enjoyed reading, writing, and sharing poetry to celebrate National Poetry Month in April, and am looking forward to a beautiful spring month full of new writing adventures in May. Thank you to those who followed my poetic journeys; you have read my heart within my poems. No matter what stories or novels I'm working on, I will always continue to create in the beautiful, inspiring genre that made me fall in love with the written word so many years ago.
